Thank you to all who contributed to our Harvest Festival collection this year. As you can see, we have lots of food to give to Mary Magdalen Church. Reverend Ricketts and her team will be making food parcels and giving them to those in need. Thank you again for your donations and for coming to our assembly.

Day 2

Day 2 is done and dusted. Children really enjoyed their activities at Magdalen College, lunch in the great hall and walking tour of Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland and Golden Compass sites. But their absolute favourite was our dinner at Pizza Hut!

All children are now in bed and asleep, adults soon to follow!

Our day

We've had a brilliant day at Magdalen College. The children were amazing - a real credit to the school, the parents and themselves. We were the first EVER primary school to visit the college and the college learned from us as well.

On our way!

Hi all!
It's 9.45am and we're on our way! Plans have changed slightly though. Because of the weather forecast (rain and high winds) we've been forced to use our contingency plan. Children will now be sleeping in dorms. Our other activities are not affected.
Everyone is happy and looking forward to our adventure!

Advance party breakfast at Best Western Hotel

After a warm shower, McDonalds and a sleep in a dry bed, the advance party settle down to a French breakfast. The rain is still pouring down outside. This morning we will go back to the campsite to assess the situation, but it doesn't look good!

France Update

I am sorry about the disappointing message you have had but the weather here is like a monsoon and the tents are leaking so at the moment it wouldn't be right to go ahead. I am trying to change the EuroTunnel booking to Tuesday morning when the weather is to pick up an be very hot. If I can your child can still take part, albeit for a shorter time. The advance party is staying in a hotel tonight and will update on the weather situation in the morning.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Advance party arrive at campsite in heavy rain!

Mr Duncans nightmare is waiting

Lunch in the car in France - it's a bit chilly here!

Advance party arrive at tunnel

The advance party left at 6.35am on the dot and arrived at EuroTunnel with 2 minutes to spare - just long enough for Tyler and Kaitlyn to go to the loo!
We are now on the train and ready to go.

Digital leaders - Ellie-Mae and Louise

Hello! We are digital leaders and we look after the laptops at Peterhouse Primary School.
We want to help you look after the netbooks properly.
Digital leaders make sure laptops are in a safe place and are not broken.

Digital Leaders - Kieron and Leah

We are the digital leaders and this is what we do:
We always make sure that our mini laptops are safe in their cases and the trolleys.
We go round six classes every day after school to collect the mini-laptops.
We work with other digital leaders and help each other.

School Money

Payments Made Easy

Peterhouse Primary School is delighted to announce that we are now in a position to offer the facility for parents to make payments online or at the school office for school uniform and school trips. All balances are broken down into manageable instalments. Uniform can be collected from the school office and you will receive a bill which you can pay over a number of months.

Our new Schoolmoney.co.uk facility will allow for both parties to experience a more streamlined, cost-effective and efficient payment collection system in a secure and safe environment.

From time to time you will receive a text message from the school inviting you to access a website as an option to make a payment for an activity. You then have the option to pay online, for which there will be a transaction charge of 39p, or pay cash at the school office with no transaction charge.

To ensure that we all experience maximum benefit from this service, we would ask all parents to notify us if you have recently changed your mobile number and/or email address.

Talent Show for Comic Relief

The Talent Show for Comic Relief, this Friday, 15th March, will now start at 1.15pm. Parents are invited in for tea/coffee at 12.45pm in the Dining Hall. On arrival, please pay your £1 donation at Reception. Friday is a non-uniform with 'crazy hair' day for the children. Donation of 50p. Thank you very much in advance for helping us raise lots of money for Comic Relief.
